The CASAR is an AR collaboration software for case investigation, and it is designed to improve the investigation efficiency. The concept is based on the fact that the crime scene is hard to preserve, and that the investigation involves various people and plenty of information.

Q: What's the biggest problem in your work ? A: Low efficiency, poor cooperation with criminal police / examiner. Q: What tools do you use for saving technical report ? A: Paper&pen / Laptop.

Q: What can be improved in criminal investigation? A: Record the scene completely instead of just photos or videos. Q: What obstacles have you encountered in your work? A: After taking evidence, the scene will be destroyed.

Q: Do you have any conflicts in the process of cooperation? A: It's hard to work at the same time or in the same place. Q: Have you met any difficulties in your work? A: Sometimes the conclusion isn't accurate without site information.

CASAR makes investigation easy and human-friendly:

The police can scan the scene with HoloLens, and the scene model will be created.
Then the information and model will be uploaded to the database.
With the help of CASAR and AR cards, the police, medical examiners and criminal technicians can access the database, view the scene, upload information and communicate with each other, whenever and wherever they are!
